Privacy Policy

The short version

The numbers you type into the calculators never leave your browser.Every calculation on this site runs locally in JavaScript on your own device. No cash flow figures, no debt terms, no model inputs are transmitted to, stored on, or logged by any server. There is no account system and nothing to sign up for.

What is collected

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. It records aggregate technical information — pages viewed, approximate geographic region, browser and device type, and referring site. It does not receive anything you type into a calculator.

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish repeat visits. You can block these with browser settings, an ad blocker, or Google'sopt-out add-on. The site works normally with analytics blocked.

Advertising

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising inGoogle Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies ataboutads.info. Where required by law, a consent banner is shown before any personalised advertising cookie is set.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and operational purposes. This is ordinary web-server logging and is not used to build a profile of you.

What is never collected

• Any value entered into any calculator on this site
• Files, spreadsheets or documents — none can be uploaded
• Names, email addresses or payment details, unless you email directly
• Any account or login information, because there are no accounts

Local storage

Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is never transmitted. Clearing site data removes it.

Your rights

Because no personal data is collected through the calculators, there is generally nothing held about you to access, correct or delete. For analytics and advertising data, those are controlled by Google underGoogle's Privacy Policy. If you are in the EEA, UK or California and want to exercise a data right relating to this site, email contact@projectfinancecalc.com.

Children

This is a professional finance tool and is not directed at children under 13. No information is knowingly collected from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. Material changes will be noted on this page.
