Reporting a calculation error

This is the most useful message you can send. To make it quick to reproduce, please include:

• Which calculator, and the exact inputs you used
• The figure it produced, and the figure you expected
• Your source for the expected figure, if you have one

Confirmed errors are fixed and the fix is noted on the relevant page. The calculation engine is covered by an automated test suite, and any bug found this way becomes a new permanent test case.

Requesting a calculator

Tell us the metric, and — most usefully — what you currently do instead. "I keep a spreadsheet that does X" is exactly the signal that a tool is worth building. Requests genuinely drive the build order.
